Atomic Chalet is located on a peninsula in Pineview reservoir only 1/4 mile from the the Cemetary Point boat ramp in Huntsville. There are numerous swimming beaches within walking distance to the Chalet.
We have off-street parking for your boat and trailer. For powerboat or personal watercraft rentals, check out Club Rec.

Mountain Biking
The state of Utah must be Mecca for mountain bikers. Utah Mountain Biking is a fun website with descriptions of popular trails throughout Utah, but not all of them. Trail maps are available at the chalet, and the Snowbasin Web site will have useful information for your summertime mountain biking and gondola rides to the top of Needles.
One can rent mountain bikes locally in the Ogden Valley from Diamond Peak bike rental, Snowbasin bike rental or Wolf Mountain bike rental. Rates are on the links.

Kayaking
You can rent our kayaks or bring your own. Launch right across the street from the chalet in popular Pineview reservoir (Cove 6900) or for more serenity take the boats about 7 miles up to wakeless Causey reservoir where fishing and paddling reign. A roof rack, truck or trailer is recommended for transporting boats to Causey. Whitewater kayaking can be done on the Ogden and Weber Rivers.

Golf in Utah
Utah Golf Association website is the best directory of all Utah golf courses.
Some of our favorite nearby tracks:
El Monte at the bottom of Ogden Canyon is one of the oldest tracks in the state (9 holes)
Round Valley Golf Course 35 minutes away in the town of Morgan. 18 holes along the Weber River.
Valley View Golf Course, in Layton, is located on the east bench of the Northern Wasatch. Has great views of the Salt Lake and the mountains.
